Hi! I'm Luluca, but you can call me Lulu. I'm a Uruguayan children's book illustrator passionate about telling stories. Drawing for me is like breathing, traveling, playing and reading, all at once. To create each piece, I use watercolors, paper cuts, and digital techniques with Procreate. My main language is Spanish but I'm very fluent in English,
I have my house very close to te beach and the forest, where I gather all my inspiration. But my studio is in the city of Montevideo. There, I also give art classes to children of all ages.   
A curious fact about me is that my friends call me Pippin, because I'm Hobbit-sized and I love second breakfasts and walking in the mountains. My connection with cozy places and nature is constantly reflected on my work.
My first picture book as an author “Andar Descalzo“ was chosen for te catalog Diversidades Latinas by Universidad de Palermo on the year 2024.
